GW1 is already slowly dieing out for those who have had the game for 2-3+ years all we have is title RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOs and Elite areas and goof off on professions that we don't normally play.

LOL...do you realize GW2 is TOTALLY NEW GAME? I don't know what world you live in, but making a new game, like GW, takes more than a year...

No news is good news.

Maybe they reviewed some of the initial feedback to GW2 and realized that the fans were going to bolt if they released that poop so they are changing it some.

What?!?!?! I am shocked! Really, just shocked that ANet is not releasing anymore information.

Really not surprised, they really have slacked off and probably lost a lot of potential players due to their lack of information and time tables for the release.

Hah. When I purchased Guild Wars I knew next to nothing about it, never read any reviews, trailers - anything!

1) They've been working on GW2 for a couple of years already, according to some obscure Gaile statement
2) AoC failed because it was full of bugs and support were bad and the game was nothing but decent graphics.

I am sure there are a ton of reasons why they haven't given us much to chew on in regards to GW2. The most popular answer I am sure would be " we aren't ready yet " Thats all good. I don't want to be playing a half finished game loaded with bugs.

The flipside to this is that people see other companies such as Blizzard,Bioware,Mythic promote their games while they are working on them and then look at Arenanet and wonder when they will do something. I don't think people are impatient, I think the people want to be excited about Guild Wars again including myself.
